DANIE'S AXE:

RG seven string models feature a 48mm X 65mm neck (shipped with a Low B string .054 from the factory). This is basically a standard 43mm neck with an added string and just slightly thinner spacing so it's easy for a player to transpose ideas from a six string directly to the seven string.

The RG7620 features a Low Pro edge Seven string tremolo that's exactly the same as our six string with one added saddle. This was designed so that a player can pick like a normal six string.

The pickups and wiring system are also Ibanez exclusives. DiMarzio Blaze pickups were designed to keep the lows from breaking up the amp without losing all the high end, which is no easy task. The special 5 switching system was designed to allow a player to use a standard two humbucking guitar and a 5-way switch that is specially wired to give a combination of the most needed pickup sounds of both a traditional guitar and a hot rodded death machine.

The RG7620 features a light weight basswood body, maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, 24 frets, direct mount DiMarzioŽ Blaze II pickups, Ibanez special 5 way switching system, seven string Low-Pro Edge tremolo, black hardware and of course the Low B string.
